Frequently Asked Questions
Is The Wall free?
Yes, completely. There's no payment tier, no upgrade, and submission credits can't be bought, sold, or exchanged for money — they only exist to control posting. Everything is earned through activity, not purchased.
How do I post my first ad?
Sign in with Google, and you'll have a free submission waiting the day you join — use it right away with "Post today's ad" on your dashboard. You'll get another free one on that same weekday every week after.
How do I earn extra submissions?
Bring 50 genuine visitors to your personal affiliate link (found under "Get affiliate link" on your dashboard), and you'll bank a bonus submission for the next day. Bring several batches of 50 in one sitting and you'll bank several days at once. A progress bar on your dashboard tracks how close you are to your next 50.
Do my banked credits expire, or is there a limit to how many I can hold?
Neither. Credits never expire, and there's no cap on how many you can bank at once — your weekly free submission still arrives on schedule even if you're already sitting on a stockpile from earlier bonuses. Front-loading effort in one sitting and coasting on it for a while is a deliberate part of how the site works, not a workaround.
How do I actually get 50 visits to my link?
Most members combine a few approaches rather than relying on just one: sharing the link on social media and in relevant groups, using credit-based safelists (sites where members agree to view each other's links in exchange for their own getting seen), and traffic exchange sites (where surfing other members' pages earns you views back to your own). None of these cost anything to use, and The Wall works properly inside all of them — your ads will display and your views will count regardless of how the visitor arrives, as long as they're a real person genuinely viewing the page for a few seconds.
What counts as "activity," and why does it matter?
It's the same thing as above: genuine visits you bring to your own affiliate link. Your dashboard's activity gauge looks at your last 30 days of that, weighted so recent sharing counts more than sharing from weeks ago. It's not about how often you log in or post — it's purely about how much real traffic you're bringing to the platform.
It's worth doing regardless of your posting streak, because it does double duty: it decides how often your ads show up in top positions on the wall, and it's also what keeps a "hot" ad's extra runway alive once it's past its guaranteed 7 days. Bringing traffic helps you directly — and every visit you bring also means more eyes on everyone else's ads, which is the whole reason the wall works for anyone at all.
Can my ads help me show up in Google or Bing search results?
Yes — though it's worth being precise about how. An individual ad can't show up as its own search result, since it isn't a page of its own — but its wording is real, crawlable content that Google and Bing read directly, and that strengthens the wall and category pages it lives on. This happens independently of whether you share your own link: every ad that's currently live is included directly in the page search engines see, not hidden behind anything they'd need extra steps to find.
The bigger opportunity is your profile page, since that genuinely is a standalone page of its own, and can be indexed and show up in search results directly — something several members' profiles have already achieved. A well filled-out profile (a real bio, your real links) paired with active, well-written posting gives it a real shot at that.
Worth being realistic about what none of this guarantees, though. The wall shows a rotating slice of ads, not the whole thing at once, so which specific ads a given crawl happens to see varies — the same activity-weighted rotation that decides how often real visitors see your ad also affects how often a search engine's crawler does. And if someone clicks through from a search result to a page after the ad that drew them there has expired, they'll land on a fully working, currently-live wall — just not that specific ad. Staying active still helps here too, the same way it helps everywhere else on the platform.
How long does an ad stay on the wall?
7 days from when you post it, then it retires automatically — this keeps the wall showing active members rather than accumulating stale content forever. You can see exactly how many days are left on each of your ads under "My ads," and edit the headline, body, or link on any still-active ad from there. Once an ad has expired, editing won't bring it back — post a fresh one with a new credit instead.
Can I edit an ad after posting it?
Yes, as long as it's still active (not expired) and hasn't been reported by another member. Once flagged, editing locks — the ad either runs its course or gets reviewed, but can't be quietly rewritten in the meantime.
What happens if my ad gets reported?
Reports are categorized by severity, so minor issues and serious ones aren't treated the same way. Most reports need several distinct members to flag the same ad before anything happens to your account — a single report doesn't put you at risk. If your account does cross that threshold, posting pauses temporarily; a second time results in a longer suspension.
What's the referral program?
Share your affiliate link to bring in new members as well as views. When someone joins through your link, you'll earn a share of the bonus submissions they go on to earn — for as long as they stay active. It's one tier: you're only rewarded for people you personally bring in, not anyone further down the chain.
Can I message my sponsor or the members I've referred?
Yes, once you've personally earned 100 lifetime visits through your link. From that point you can message your sponsor (whoever referred you) and any of your own referrals directly from your dashboard. Links aren't allowed inside messages — that's what your profile page is for. You can also block anyone you no longer want to hear from.
What are the extra links on my profile for?
Every member gets one free link on their profile page from the start. Reaching 100 lifetime visits unlocks a second link slot, and 400 unlocks three more — five in total. Your profile page is shared every time someone views one of your ads, so it's worth filling in as you unlock more of it.
How do I delete my account?
"Delete my account" on your dashboard removes everything immediately — your ads, credits, messages, and profile. This can't be undone.
